These tools contributed to a 32% total medical cost reduction across multiple national payer contracts, positioning CMM as a leader in value-based performance. The achievement earned national recognition, including finalist placement in the 2024 Gartner® Eye on Innovation Awards and first place in the 2024 Healthcare Innovation Awards.

Dr. Tong’s work has also been recognized by the North Carolina House Speaker for advancing healthcare innovation across the state. In addition to his executive leadership, Dr. Tong mentors students and young entrepreneurs through internships and business competitions and serves as North Carolina Co-Chair of the International Leadership Foundation.
